This Privacy Policy explains how BKNexchange collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website and when you use the BKNexchange application.
BKNexchange (referred to here as BKNexchange, we, or us) provides a workforce platform for scheduling and timekeeping, earned wage access, and field check ins. This policy covers information we handle through our marketing website and through the application at app.bknexchange.com.
When we process information about an employer workforce on that employer behalf, the employer directs how that information is used. In those cases the employer is responsible for its own privacy practices, and we act as its service provider.
Account and contact details such as name, email address, phone number, business name, job role, and login credentials.
Schedules, clock in and clock out times, approved hours, and the location recorded at the moment of a clock in or check in.
Wages earned and available, transfer requests and amounts, transaction history, and the account details needed to deliver a transfer. Some financial and bank details are handled by our payment partners rather than stored by us.
Saved business and contact records, visit notes, and the location and timestamp recorded at a check in.
Device, log, and usage information, and similar data collected through cookies and comparable technologies.
Location is recorded only when an employee clocks in or checks in. We do not track location continuously or in the background.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the services and for legitimate business and legal purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. You can read more on our security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to receive a copy of it. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email info@bknexchange.com. If your information is managed by your employer, we may direct your request to that employer.
The services are intended for businesses and their workers and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
